I was reading this article about Google’s Orkut on Wikipedia and I found some really interesting fact there.

Well, orkut was build looking at the American Market but it is most popular in Brazil and India.

Orkut has over 50% memebers from Brazil and around 16% members from India. That’s simply: Made for USA and mingled in Brazil and India!

Kellogg’s Corn Flakes

Ok, this is my favourite item in breakfast – the Kellogg’s Corn Flakes. But I hardly get to have it because I often got late for college when I wake up. So, either I end up having breakfast in the college canteen or on the way.

But now, I have decided to have proper breakfast from today and I woke up real early today. I eat as much Kellogg’s Corn Flakes today and I am a happy guy. That’s just some ramblings… hehe

Hurray! I am going for vacation to Ooty. Ooty is a wonderful hill station in India and it’s lovely in Summer.

But what are these businesses that I am talking about right now? Well, you call them websites, while I call them businesses.

When you look at a website, try to think of it as a business. You can think of each of them as a business website. When you make a website, try to look at it as a business. Business need hardwork and well planned input to compete with the competitors and same is the case for websites too. You need to invest time and money to make a website running and moving all the way to a top position. With these ideas and concept, I have started many websites a few months back and they are doing very well today. I have been doing the internet thingy since some time now and there are many people here who started out with me. One person who started the blogging journey with me and who is a pioneer of blogging in our college MANIT, Bhopal is bro Uttam. You can check out his personal website bonyuts.com. He owns some dozens of websites and now he has started marketing on ebay and other similar affiliate marketplaces.

Well, there are some benefits of setting up a personal website. It gives you an identity on the wild internet. You can put it on your business card, that will add an extra feather to your shining hat. There is also one more reason. You are more trusted by other online dealers if you have a personal website or blog. I have also set up my personal website long time ago but I hardly get time to update it. That’s a big problem many small webmasters face these days – not getting time to update their websites.
