Airlines services after recent fuel hike

So much for the fuel hike, every airline is doing their best to cut cost. It was only a few years ago that in India, many people have started travelling by air, thanks to low cost airlines like Deccan and Indigo etc. Deccan was hailed as the most popular airlines among the bulk middle class families in India. But recently with the hike in oil prices, airlines ticket prices soared to heights. And with Deccan being taken over by Kingfisher-one of the luxury airlines, it no longer fits in the middle class budget.
And recently I read that Japanese airlines have started serving food in light plates and use only light things on the plane. You may even find less water when you use the loo, all thanks to the fuel hike. There is even more disastrous news from American airlines which will start charging for the food during flights. Moreover they are going to charge extra for each baggage that you carry. Oh, life is surely going to be tough for the middle class people. I hope somebody invents a vehicle that can move with water soon!
